How does the hip seat ensure correct hip positioning?
The hip seat ensures the baby's hips are in the correct “M position” by keeping the thighs supported at hip level so the thigh bone stays inside the hip socket.
How big is the storage under the hip seat?
You can fit 6 diapers (pampers size 2).
How do I wash this carrier?
Machine wash with cold water in a gentle cycle. Lay flat to air dry, do not tumble dry. For light cleaning, simply wipe clean with a damp towel.

I was gifted this carrier during my first pregnancy and I could not wait to use it for my baby. Once I had my baby I used this carrier ALL OF THE TIME. I left the carrier in my car so I could use it whenever I was out of the house and it really made a positive impact on my mental health and well being. I was able to adjust to my new lifestyle of being a mom with a baby with her and I could continue doing the things that I love. I am now on my second baby he is turning 6 months soon and I use this carrier everywhere I go. I love the support that this carrier has for the baby to sit on as well as the support for my back. My husband also LOVES this carrier - its way easier to use that our others and it is just simple and comfortable. We won't use any other carrier! Also, I am able to breastfeed while wearing my baby in this carrier. It's pretty amazing!

Overall experience has been great - quick shipping to Canada. There is a custom fee, so make a note of that. The carrier material feels high quality. I mistakenly bought the bigger size instead of the newborn, but I figure its probably best to keep the size up rather than return, and I can always add in the infant insert if I chose to. I haven't used it yet - not due until the summer, but I've heard great reviews about this one, and with the sale price, I couldn't pass up! My hubby is super excited to use this, instead of a stroller ha.

So far I am very happy with my miamilly carrier. I researched several carriers with forward facing seating, and Miamilly came recommended. I am happy my baby now has hip support. It’s soft yet strong. Easy to use, just make sure to loosen upper back strap and tighten once clipped - as with any carrier. My baby loves facing out and watching the world. Fits both myself and my husband perfectly.
