TESTED AND APPROVED AS A HIP HEALTHY PRODUCT
What is Hip Dysplasia?
In some babies, the ball of the thighbone doesnt fit securely into the hip socet. And if their hips are stretched out too much, you can distort the cup-shaped socket which can cause problems when baby starts walking.
Correct carrying positions to prevent hip dysplasia
No carrier can cause hip dysplasia if it is not already an existing condition for your baby. But correct hip positionning is a smart way to make sure your child cis comfortable and developing properly. Forward facing seated position is safe starting at 6 months old.

My husband tried other carriers and our four month old never seemed quite comfortable. She either hated getting into it or got uncomfortable once inside, or we didn’t fedel fully secure with her position. The Miamily has made it easier for us to carry her everywhere! We’ve gone for long urban walks, gotten easily on and off of airplanes, and even gone to the beach! We love how easy it is to get on, how secure it feels, and how easily we can adjust it to fit both of our bodies comfortably. This is THE BEST carrier for sure. Best for our baby and best for our backs!
The best baby PRODUCT you can buy
This is the greatest baby product you could purchase! I have recommended this product from everyone to close friends… to people I see in the grocery store. Everyone who has purchased has fallen in love with it! When my Son was first born I read a ton of blogs and reviews on the best baby carrier available. We decided to go with and purchase the Lille Carrier. Unfortunately my Son was never comfortable in it….. we kept making up excuses that he was too small, or I was too short, or my husband too tall. I decided to borrow a friends Ergobaby carrier to see if that helped with our problem… still my Son seemed crazy uncomfortable. Frustrated I actually found and dragged my husband to a Baby Carrier class at a local baby spot. We spent hours talking about, trying on, and placing our baby in every carrier available…. Still…Nothing helped. My biggest frustration was that my Son seemed my most content facing out, but all the carriers seemed to pull on his hips in a super unnatural way. I was almost convinced that my Son was just not meant to fit in a carrier… that is until…. I changed the way I was searching. Instead of searching American blogs for “best baby carrier” I started doing Google searches for “best carrier for baby’s hips.” I was blown away when I found the Hipster, and shocked that I hadn’t read about it before then. I purchased it right away and haven’t gone back! My Son is almost one year old and we still use our carrier at least twice a day, it has held up to extreme use and traveling all around the country. I get asked about it almost every time I wear it, my Husband jokes I need business cards because I talk it up so much. You will not be disappointed with this! I am 5’ 3” and my Husband is 6’ 2”… we easily and quickly interchange it between the two of us and both find it extremely comfortable. My Son loves it so much that he actually gets excited when he sees us take it out of the closet. I cannot say enough about how great this product is… just buy it! You will be in love!!
The hype is real!
I researched all types of carriers because nothing is ever as good as it “seems” online even though I really liked the look and all the ways this carrier could be used. Then a friend of mine got this carrier and wouldn’t stop talking about it. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Hipster and the infant insert for my 4 week old and can’t imagine not having it. My daughter loves it and having her so mobile allows me to easily do things around the house or take a walk (because we all need to get out!!). I also had an interaction with Cecilia who was absolutely lovely and amazing to work with.
A good helper
I received my extender belt a week before my carrier and shoulder strap arrived today. I thought it would arrive sooner (5 days for express shipping) but it took about 2 weeks. I guess i should have just opted for normal shipping. I immediately put it on and it took some adjustments to find a comfortable fit for the hipseat. I seem to be putting it wrongly as it sometimes dig into my tummy. Maybe more practice for me. Since I wear a pregnancy belt, I found it is even more comfy this way. When I finally got the right fit without the pregnancy belt, it was comfy from then on. Took the baby out for a short stroll and he was delighted. He ended up sleeping later on. My baby likes facing out as he is very curious. This definitely helps to lessen the load from my hands as I have the dreaded 'mummy thumb' and it is painful to carry baby. Now it is a breeze for both mummy and baby.
Kids 17 months apart
Excellent, comfortable carrier that is well designed and thought out. Have used on both my 10 week old & 19 month old and they both love it. It’s also nice that it fits well for my 6’2” husband who is 1 foot taller than me as well as for myself. We were considering getting one of those expensive backpack carriers for hiking but now I’m not sure if we need to. We may just buy another one so that we have two.
